Leblanc Paris Dynamic Clarinet Circa 1950s
Leblanc Paris medium-large bore professional model. Serial #4796. This later became the Dynamic H and Pete Fountain models. Beautiful Leblanc workmanship. No cracks, and the mechanism is tight. Has had a small crack professionally repaired (pinned) in the upper joint and some professional bell tenon repair. Bore size is .581. Raw, nickel-silver keywork. We overhauled this in our shop with new double-skin pads and corks. In a later Leblanc case and with a Noblet hard rubber mouthpiece. We estimate this clarinet was made in the 1950s. An impressive clarinet that is a joy to play! $810 plus shipping. Please see the photographs.
Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, you will likely have to invest in an overhaul before you play it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
