Golden Era Instruments, LLC is a "labor of love" for Dr. Charles Fail and family. For many years, Charles and his family owned and operated Charles Fail Music, Inc. This restoration and sales facility earned customers world-wide for quality. It was featured in Southern Living Magazine and on Charles Wood's Across America series on CNN. Stepping down from some of his university teaching responsibilities in semi-retirement, Charles has opened his small shop dedicated to buying, restoring, and selling vintage and pre-owned musical instruments. We believe that yesterday's instruments were in many ways superior to those of today and restoring these requires the skills and experience that the Fail family possesses.
