Artley 18S Student Model Clarinet Circa 1970s
In the 1970s, Artley was a division of C.G. Conn and this #155892 represents Artley’s student model clarinet. It is made of ABS resin that is finished to look like wood. Nickel-plated keys. Own a solid U.S.-made instrument that has been overhauled in our shop with new pads and corks. Comes with a good case and Woodwind Educator rubber mouthpiece. $300 plus shipping.
Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either after you have purchased them or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
Our Shipping Policy:
We endeavor to ship within the Continental United States by UPS Ground if it is going to a street address. United Parcel Service (UPS) will not deliver to a P.O. Box. If it is going to a P.O., Box, it must go USPS Priority Mail and for large boxes that must be used to safely ship musical instruments, the Post Office charges about twice the rate of UPS Ground Service.
