Robert Siour was a well-regarded clarinet maker in Paris. This Siour Robert metal clarinet we estimate was made between 1917 and 1927. We restored this interesting old instrument and found it was well-made and plays quite well. This is a breakdown instrument in four sections. It is silver-plated. No dents. All new pads and corks. The mechanism is tight. Even includes its (interesting) original case and Noblet hard rubber mouthpiece. Please see the photographs. Own and play a piece of French history! $490 plus shipping.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before playing them or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
