The HN White Co. made King, Cleveland, American Standard, and Gladiator metal Clarinets. HN White was renowned for quality and workmanship among early U.S. metal clarinet makers. This interesting Cleveland model #XX789C appears to have been made in the 1920s. It features a silver-plated body and bright silver-plated keys. We overhauled it in our shop with new double-skin pads and corks. The mechanism is tight. It comes with a decent case and a Noblet Paris hard rubber mouthpiece. These play nicely and are a bargain. $535 plus shipping. Please see the photographs.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before playing it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
