George M. Bundy was an early important figure in Selmer's history and eventually became head of Selmer USA. This early George M. Bundy metal clarinet was made in the famous Paris shops where the legendary Selmer Paris metal clarinets were made, and it represents a fine example of French craftsmanship. We estimate this #L18 was made in the late 1920s. We overhauled it with all-new pads and corks. Original silver-plated finish, original case, and hard rubber mouthpiece. The mechanism is tight. Own a metal clarinet much like its cousin, the Selmer Paris metal clarinet, for a fraction of the price. $780 plus shipping.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before you play them or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
