A professionally restored Selmer Paris professional model clarinet featuring raw nickel silver key work. Has had the G# tone hole professionally replaced earlier. Nice granadilla wood. No cracks, and the mechanism is tight. This instrument is the early series, often called Brevete models. It has a large bore, great flexibility of tone, articulated G#, and forked Eb/Bb mechanism. Comes with the original barrel, a vintage Selmer B* professional mouthpiece, and a good case. Bell appears to be original but no longer has the logo. All new double bladder pads and corks. Serial number 9023. We estimate that this instrument was made in the 1920s and is approximately one hundred years old! A joy to own and play. Please see the photographs. $795 plus shipping. A robust clarinet. It has been played a lot but still has more playing ahead!

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before you play it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
