From experience, we prefer the standard U.S. student model clarinets like this Vito #C33846, made and sold for many years by the G. Leblanc Corp. These instruments are rugged, stay in adjustment under rough handling, and play well. Ours have been professionally overhauled with all new pads and corks. They include a mouthpiece, ligature, cap, decent case, reed, swab, and cork grease. They represent a true value of $300 plus shipping.

When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, you will likely have to invest in an overhaul after you have purchased them or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.

We endeavor to ship within the Continental United States by UPS Ground if it goes to a street address. United Parcel Service (UPS) will not deliver to a P.O. Box. If it is going to a P.O. Box, it must go USPS Priority Mail, and for large boxes that must be used to ship musical instruments safely, the Post Office charges about twice the rate of UPS Ground Service.
