The H.N. White Co. (makers of the King clarinets) made Gladiator metal clarinets in the early 1940s as their introductory models. This Gladiator #QQ476 has been restored in our shop with all new pads and corks. The original silver plating is above average for an eighty-two-year-old instrument with minor wear. Please see the photographs. Includes sturdy case and Noblet hard rubber mouthpiece. A good playing metal clarinet by King craftsmen for only $400 plus shipping.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, you will likely have to invest in an overhaul either before playing it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
