The HN White Co. made King, Cleveland, American Standard, and Gladiator metal Clarinets. Among early U.S. metal clarinet makers, HN White was renowned for quality and workmanship. This interesting stencil, All American instrument #H295, appears to have been used very little. It comes with a photo of its early owner holding it!  We estimate that it was made in the early 1930s. It features a silver-plated body and bright silver-plated keys. We overhauled it in our shop, installing new double-skin pads and corks. The mechanism is tight. It comes with an original case and original rubber mouthpiece. These play nicely and are a bargain. $385 plus shipping. Please see the photographs.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it is professionally overhauled, with the mechanism tightened, new double-skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before you play it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
