This Columbia Model wooden clarinet was made by the fine old U.S. maker Cundy- Bettoney Company, in Boston, Massachusetts. We estimate it was made in the 1920’s. We overhauled it with all new pads and corks. The mechanism is tight, no cracks. Raw nickel silver keys. It comes with its original case, ligature, and original hard rubber mouthpiece. Serial number V2363. $450 plus shipping. Please see the photographs.
Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before you play them or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
