The Cundy Bettoney Company of Boston made this Boston Wonder # P1132 with all the quality and workmanship this fine old firm was noted for. The Boston Wonder was a “upper intermediate” model instrument. We estimate it was made in the late 1930s.To our knowledge, no accurate list of serial numbers and dates for these exists. It is nickel-plated (body and keys) and in great plating condition. We completely overhauled it with new double skin pads, and new corks. No dents and the mechanism is tight. Comes with a vintage hard rubber mouthpiece and case. Please see the photographs. $450 plus shipping.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before playing it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
