We estimate that it was made in the mid to late 1920s, as no separate list of Pan-American serial numbers exists to our knowledge. It is a three-piece breakdown model and has professional features. It is very similar to the early Conn professional metal clarinets. It is somewhat unusual, as it has a factory-soldered bell (Most 884N’s are four-piece). The serial number is 15105. It features a satin silver-plated body and raw nickel silver keys. We have overhauled this instrument with all-new double-skin pads and corks. It has its original case. Comes with a hard rubber mouthpiece. No dents, and the mechanism is tight. In good condition for its age. Please see the photographs.
